Description
A simple recipe for Air Fryer Char Siu, a delicious Chinese barbecue pork.
Ingredients

- 1 lb pork tenderloin
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Chinese five spice powder
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, five spice powder, rice vinegar, garlic, and black pepper.
- Marinate the pork in the mixture for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the marinated pork in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
Notes
- For best results, marinate overnight.
- Adjust cooking time based on pork thickness.
- Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
