- 4 chicken fillet
- 8 slices of prosciutto
- 8 fresh sage leaves
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of white wine
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pound the chicken fillet to an even thickness.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Place 2 slices of prosciutto and 2 sage leaves on each chicken fillet.
- Secure the prosciutto and sage with toothpicks.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Add white wine to the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
