Description

Chili Ramen Eggs are seasoned soft-boiled eggs that enhance your ramen dish with rich flavors.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  2. Gently add the eggs and boil for 6-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the eggs and place them in an ice bath.
  4. After 5 minutes, peel the eggs carefully.
  5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili oil, sugar, and sesame oil.
  6. Submerge the peeled eggs in the mixture and marinate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Slice the eggs in half and serve with ramen.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, increase the chili oil.
  • Marinate overnight for deeper flavor.
  • Store leftover eggs in the marinade for up to 3 days.
