Ingredients

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 packet hot chocolate mix
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions using milk, oil, and eggs.
- Add the hot chocolate mix to the batter and stir well.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and use a fork to poke holes all over the top.
- Pour hot chocolate over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Spread whipped topping over the cooled cake.
- Top with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- For extra flavor, add peppermint extract.
- This cake works well with different flavored hot chocolate mixes.
