A festive and colorful pasta dish inspired by Mardi Gras celebrations.
Ingredients

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cooked shrimp
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Sauté until tender.
- Add cooked shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine.
- Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese. Stir well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use any pasta shape you prefer.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
- Can substitute shrimp with chicken or vegetables for a different variation.
