Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Brown meatballs on all sides, then transfer to a baking dish.
  6. In the same skillet, sauté onion until soft.
  7. Add red wine and crushed tomatoes, stirring well.
  8. Pour sauce over meatballs.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
