Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups red wine
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown meatballs on all sides, then transfer to a baking dish.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion until soft.
- Add red wine and crushed tomatoes, stirring well.
- Pour sauce over meatballs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with pasta or crusty bread.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days.
