A light and flavorful soup featuring delicate wontons filled with meat and vegetables.
Ingredients
- Wonton wrappers – 20 pieces
- Ground pork – 200g
- Chopped green onions – 2 tablespoons
- Minced garlic – 1 clove
- Ginger – 1 teaspoon, grated
- Chicken broth – 4 cups
- Soy sauce – 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
- Vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place a small amount of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Fold the wrappers and seal them tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add the wontons and sauté for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions.
Notes
- You can add vegetables like bok choy or mushrooms to the soup.
- Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
